• Before getting into beer, he worked as a juggling instructor, Segway tour guide, vacuum salesman, and sea lion trainer.

• He once crossed an ocean for a beer, only to get laid up with norovirus during his only chance to get it. But when the tides shifted and his ship got stuck in dock, he crawled out of his cabin to find the pub that had it - and made it back to the ship with only seconds to spare. He's never taking a cruise again, but the beer was worth it.
