REPORTS TO: District Manager


  • Responsible for the overall restaurant/taproom operations.

  • Training and development of store management and hourly staff.

  • Responsible for financial operations of the restaurant /taproom.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Must be willing and able to do the following:

  • Maintain a positive, pleasant attitude every shift.

  • Perform calmly and effectively in an extremely busy and stressful work environment.

  • Be accountable for all aspects of the restaurant/taproom.

  • Develop management team targeting operational, financial and guest satisfaction.

  • Effectively supervise and direct crew daily

  • Effective communicate new policies, product information and new procedures to the crew.

  • Interview, hire, train and retain qualified employees

  • Identify, address and document employee performance

  • Discipline and/or terminate as necessary according to company guidelines

  • Be hands on in all FOH operations to ensure smooth efficient service.

  • Promote teamwork and positive work environment.

  • Create crew schedules, ensure that the restaurant is properly staffed for each service.

  • Follow up with employees to ensure tasks are completed.

  • Knowledgeable in all restaurant and taproom products.

  • Able to provide training and instruction to new employees.

  • Become proficient and able to assist in all BOH stations

  • Ability to safely and efficiently use knives and other tools, utensils, and equipment necessary to complete preparation of menu items.

  • Understand and follow the food allergy procedure and special orders/restrictions.

  • Read and use a thermometer correctly and efficiently.

  • Communicate any food delays or issues to the guests

  • Maintain appropriate ambiance, monitoring lighting, music level, tv selection and room temperature.

  • Move safely through all areas of the restaurant/taproom, which may include stairs, uneven, and slick surfaces.

  • Must wash hands regularly, according to guidelines.

  • Ensure that all employees comply with all safety procedures and sanitation guidelines.

  • Ensure kitchen prep levels are sufficient for each shift.

  • Maintain quality food standards in preparation and presentation

  • Be able to stand and walk for an entire shift.

  • Communicate cordially, effectively, and clearly with all employees, managers, partners, corporate staff, and guests.

  • Communicate repair and maintenance issues immediately.

  • Maintain proper inventory levels.

  • Perform and extend monthly inventory.

  • Work with marketing and supervisors to increase sales.

  • Assist in all special events

  • Perform more than one task at a time.

  • Accept direction and constructive criticism from upper management.

  • Able to identify guest service status and provide immediate direction to ensure a positive guest experience.

  • Be able to work a variety of hours, days, and shifts, including weekends and increased work schedules.

  • Work in a confined, crowded space of variable noise and temperature levels.

  • Lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to perform basic restaurant/taproom equipment troubleshooting.

  • Ability to re-light a pilot light

  • Provide necessary accounting to office within the targeted timeframe.

  • Provide weekly store operating data to District manager within the established timeline.

  • Provide any information, requested or required documents, to the office within the requested timeframe.

  • Ensure that all sales and cash handling is preformed according to establish company practices and guidelines.

  • Communicate all business-related issues to district manager immediately.

  • Post and monitor on social media accounts and follow company social policies. 

  • Lead by example.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State, Local and Company laws, regulations, policies and procedures.

  • Create a positive team environment. Listen and support others.

  • Additional duties as assigned.
