Brewed for competition in this year’s Alpha King Challenge, this beer is an absurd experiment into how much hop flavor can be packed into your glass. You’ve been warned.
It appears pale, slightly hazy, and in that little half-pint glass, you might call it cute… But your first sniff is an onslaught of tropical fruit, mango, melon, and citrus that will transport your senses to the middle of a hop field and your first taste delivers all of the above along with a piney bitterness that will feel like the hop vines have snaked up your tongue and wrapped themselves around your brain. Bliss. But your barstool is still safely under you. What is this magic? A remarkably strong, yet drinkable and wellbalanced beer packed with more hops than most people would consider to be sane.
