Our recent expansion is moving rapidly with several moving parts now online! Within the past month, the team at our Buellton HQ has completed installation of a 60bbl BrauKon brewhouse, three new fermenters, a new Comac canning line and additional packaging equipment, all of which have begun running. We recently brought on a new Head Brewer at our Buellton HQ, too. Tim Harbage has worked for years in the beer industry in Los Angeles, as a head brewer at Smog City and Golden Road. Alongside Tim and our talented team, we've brought in the experts from Kathinka Engineering and Engineered Brew as consultants to take our expansion project to completion. We've hit some great milestones so far, and have more to come.
A major belle of of this project ball is our canning line and packaging suite, which is currently running initial tests of four brands of beers: Hoppy Poppy IPA, FMB 101 Blonde, Fig Mtn Light, and Lizard’s Mouth Imperial IPA. Until today, only the Hoppy Poppy cans had been revealed, but this is our public debut of the first four cans slated for upcoming release.
In the coming weeks, our first wave of can releases will hit our distributed territories in limited supply in California and Arizona. As these cans enter the market, keep an eye on our @figmtnbrew social media for the official announcement of a date for an extremely limited sale of cans at tour taprooms. These first cans will be available at taprooms on a first-come, first-served basis, with limits of one 6-pack per person of each brand.
